Winter flower display

Christmas table displays are a perfect way to decorate your home over the festive period, and they can be very easy to make. Here and overleaf, the lovely Rona Wheeldon from Flowerona (flowerona.com) shares her tips for fashioning beautiful Christmas table centres, which will add a real wow factor to your home.

  • Winter flower display
      1. Line a basket with cellophane, then fill it with soaked floral foam, making sure that the foam comes slightly above the level of the basket. Tape the foam to secure.

      2. Using floristry wires that are bent in half, tape around the base of the candle to create three prongs, then push the wires and candle into the centre of the foam.

      3. Cut small sprigs of pine and eucalyptus and insert them into the foam, together with ilex berries. Attach wire to seasonal accessories such as pine cones, cinnamon and dried fruit and push them into the foam, completing the arrangement.
