From The Art of the Scarf, this project will show you how to turn a simple scarf into an elegant, Frida Kahlo-inspired look. Complete Frida’s signature look by pinning large, bright flowers in your hair around your forehead.
2 x Hairbands
1 x Ribbon scarf or scarf folded into a slim rectangle
Part your hair in the centre and tie your hair into two high bunches.
Take a ribbon scarf or a scarf folded into a slim rectangle. Pass it diagonally between the bunches.
Pass one end of the scarf around one of the bunches and back towards the other bunch.
Loop the scarf back around the second bunch to form a figure-of-eight.
Divide the first bunch into two. Braid the hair and scarf together, using the scarf like a third strand of hair. Repeat with the second bunch.
Secure in a beautiful crown shape using hairpins. Accessorize with bold brow(s).
