Recipe: Avocado Dip Christmas Trees
Enjoy this snack hack from Primula. It’s never too late to whip up a fun and tasty snack for unexpected guests. These cute trees are made with creamy avocado dip and would be a hit with adults and kids alike!
YOU'LL NEED:
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 dessertspoon lemon juice
- 70g (approx half a tube) Primula cheese with Prawns
- Pitta Breads, toasted
- Twiglets
- 1 red chilli, finely chopped
- A few pomegranate seeds (optional)
Peel and chop the avocado and place in a mixing bowl, add the lemon juice and Primula cheese with prawns.
Using a hand blender blitz the mixture until smooth, or mix with a fork.
Cut the toasted Pitta bread into triangles and ‘pipe’ or spread onto the pitta triangles.
Sprinkle with the finely chopped chilli and top with a pomegranate seed.
Place a half twiglet at the base of the ‘tree’ for the trunk.
