Ice lollies and popsicles… who ever said they reserved for children only? We especially love home-made lollies made from fresh, sweet juices – seriously, you’ll never go shop bought again!
- 2 1/2 cups of fresh fruit (whatever your preferred)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- Pinch of salt
Perhaps that’s why Jordan Ferney’s (of Oh Happy Day fame!) colourful ice pops caught our eye. With layered colours, even better. The trick is to come up with 5 or so of your fave flavours, and ones which complement each other to suit your taste.
So, whether your favourite is chocolate, mango, coconut, raspberry, strawberry, pineapple or apple, experiment until you find your perfect summer flavour or biggest crowd pleaser!
To make fresh fruit popsicles, blend the following until smooth:
