Body

    Make five

    Using 3.5mm hook and Light Pink (Blue, Yellow, Green, Dark Pink) make a magic ring, work (3ch [counts as one st], 12tr) into ring, join with a sl st to third of first 3ch. 13 sts Change to Yellow (Yellow, Green, Yellow, Yellow)

    1. Rnd 1:working in gaps between sts, 3ch (counts as first st), 1tr in same gap, 2tr in each gap to end, join with a sl st to third of first 3ch. 26 sts Change to White

    2. Rnd 2:working in gaps between sts, 2ch (counts as first st), 2htr in same gap, 3htr in each gap to end, join with a sl st to second of first 2ch. 39 sts Change to Light Pink (Blue, Yellow, Green, Dark Pink)

    3. Rnd 3: 1ch, 1dc in each st to end, join with a sl st to first ch

    4. Rnds 4-6: 1ch, 15dc, 3htr, 3tr, 3htr, 15dc, join with a sl st to first ch

    5. Rnds 7-8: rep Rnd 3

    6. Rnd 9: 1ch, 1dc, (dc2tog) to end. 20 sts

    7. Rnd 10: 1ch, (dc2tog) to end. Ten sts Stuff, mould into an egg shape

    8. Rnd 11: rep Rnd 10. Five sts Fasten off Sew up gap

Legs

    Make ten

    1. Using 3.5mm hook and Custard Yellow make 46ch

    2. Row 1: starting second ch from hook five sl st, (6ch, starting second ch from hook five sl st) twice, one sl st into starting chain Fasten off

Comb

    Make five

    1. Using 3.5mm hook and Dark Pink make 6ch

    2. Row 1: starting second ch from hook 1dc, 2htr in next st, 1dc, 3tr in next st, (1htr, 1dc) in next st. Nine sts Fasten off

To make up

    Embroider beak with Yellow, building up shape with short sts by overlapping four layers one over the other, switching direction after each layer. Sew on small back beads for eyes. Tie a knot in each Leg to act as a knee. Sew on Legs to bottom of Body. Sew Comb to top of head.
