Create fun & festive stocking holders with our free bonus project!

There are many traditions that go hand-in-hand with the festive season; leaving out carrots for Rudolph, carol singing, Stir Up Sunday and, of course, hanging the stockings on the fireplace. This Christmas, add an extra decorative touch to your stockings with these fabulous holders, which also double up as sweetie storage, perfect for sweet-toothed visitors!

  • Create fun & festive stocking holders with our free bonus project!
    You’ll need:
      • Small clip-top storage glass jars
      • Ceramic wall tiles
      • 3M clear plastic hooks
      • Plastic key fobs
      • Small sweets
      • Shredded cellophane
      • Hot glue gun

1 First, attach the clear plastic hooks to the tiles. Clean the centre of one edge of the tile, then follow the manufacturer’s instructions to apply the hook to the tile. The ring of the key fob can be attached to the hook.

2 Next, fix the glass jars to the tiles with a hot glue gun. Apply glue to both the jars and the tiles. Position the jars in the centre just behind the hooks. Finally fill the jars with a mixture of jelly beans, shredded cellophane and small Christmas decorations.
