• Chocolate brownies
You’ll need
    • 200g dark chocolate
    • 250g butter, softened
    • 375g caster sugar
    • 80g cocoa powder
    • 60g plain flour
    • 1tsp baking powder
    • 4 large eggs
    • 8x8 inch tin greased and lined with parchment paper

    1. Melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl over simmering water. Meanwhile mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder and baking powder together in a bowl.

    2. When the chocolate and butter have melted, mix into the dry ingredients. Once combined, add the eggs one at a a time, mixing well.

    3. Pour the mixture into a greased and lined tin and bake for 35- 40 minutes at 180ºC/gas mark 4. The brownies will crack on the top when they’re ready.
