You can’t go wrong with traditional games when it comes to having fun with the family, and when do we spend more time with our family than on holiday?

We Love These Homemade, Travel-Size, Traditional Games!

Talented textiles artist and designer Georgina Giles has combined these elements to create fabric, handmade, travel versions of old favourites, tic-tac-toe and noughts and crosses. Ingeniously, each game is a bag holding the pieces, which then folds inside out to reveal the board, perfectly portable.

Available in various shades and prints, every game is made from 100% cotton fabric and lined with beautifully soft wool felt. The board inside is also wool felt and the counters are made from birch wood, adding a sense of rusticity and that lovely homemade feel. Even better, Georgina loves working on individual commissions, so this could make a lovely personalised present for somebody.

Find out more about Georgina on her website here, which includes some great sewing tutorials and knitting patterns, or check out her Etsy shop here to see more of her products.
