Instead of a traditional place setting, give our cone idea a whirl. What’s more, you can fill them with little party favours to delight your guests this Easter. Follow the simple steps below to make them in time for seasonal celebrations:

Craft A Music Cone To Decorate Your Chair Backs For Easter Feasts

YOU’LL NEED

Yellow paper with a white back (15cm squares)

Music tissue paper

Turquoise tissue paper

Quail eggs

Small polystyrene eggs

Yellow gingham ribbon

Spray adhesive

Narrow double sided tape

Letter stencil

Hole punch

  • Using the spray adhesive stick the music tissue paper to the back of the yellow paper squares and then cut around the paper squares to remove the excess tissue paper.

  • Stick a strip of double side tape down one of the sides on the yellow side of the paper. Twist the square into a cone shape and secure with the tape.

  • Make a hole at the tip of the cone and thread a length of ribbon through to use for hanging the cone from the back of a chair.

  • Fill the cone with shredded turquoise tissue paper and eggs.

  • Write the name of your guest onto a strip of ribbon using the letter stencil. Cut an arrow shape into each end of the ribbon and then stick it to the front of the cones again using double sided tape.
