‘The Garden Room’, an exhibition opening at RHS Harlow Carr Gardens, Harrogate on Saturday 15th March, celebrates the launch of a fascinating new interior design project.

Celebrate The Beauty Of The Outdoors At The Garden Room

Corinne Young, a textile artist from East Yorkshire, will show how her passion for plants, textiles, art and interior design can be combined to create unique, bespoke, rooms that ‘bring the beauty of the garden into your home’.

The Garden Room will be a showcase of garden-inspired 2D and 3D work by Corinne and other acclaimed Yorkshire artists, including painters Claire West and Meg Burkill, wirework artist Chris Moss, glass maker Debbie March and papercutter Clare Lindley.

Corinne’s own ‘stitched garden’ embroidery pieces are inspired and informed by found and vintage materials, and include artworks, bespoke fabrics and wallpapers, upholstered furniture, pot plants and even a floral clock made from a broken violin.

The exhibition runs from 15th – 30th March and will be open from 10am – 4pm each day, with a diverse selection of textiles, paintings, sculpture, glass and papercuts for sale. For more information visit the website.
