      • ribbon, Crafty Ribbons
      • Needle and thread
      • Decorative button
      • Flat-backed brooch finding
      1. Make a loop in the end of the ribbon and stitch in place. Make a second loop in the opposite direction and secure.

      2. Continue making opposite pairs of loops, each one angled away from the one before to create an eight-petalled flower.

      3. Use a narrower ribbon to make a smaller flower in the same way. Stitch the two flowers together and add a decorative button to the centre to hide the stitching. Glue a flat-backed brooch finding to the reverse.
